Mr. Rotimi Adebiyi is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CrusaderSterling Pensions Limited, bringing over twenty-five years of extensive experience in the financial services sector. He demonstrates proven track record in portfolio management across a variety of asset classes. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of HIP Asset Management Company Limited, instrumental in formulating and executing diverse investment strategies and ensuring effective portfolio diversification.

From 2018 to 2021, he held the position of Divisional Head at FMDQ Depository Limited, a central securities depository, a wholly owned subsidiary of the FMDQ Group. In the earlier stages of his career, Mr. Adebiyi developed significant expertise within Bank Treasury, having worked across all treasury functions, including Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, and Asset and Liability Management, ultimately serving as Head of Treasury.

Additionally, he served as the Head of Local Currency at First Bank of Nigeria and later as a Senior Sales Trader at Standard Chartered Bank, concluding his tenure as the Chief Dealer at Intercontinental Bank (now Access Bank Plc). Mr. Adebiyi was also a leading voice in Market Advocacy, serving as Treasurer of the Money Market Association of Nigeria from 2008 to 2010. In 2012, he co-founded HIP Asset Management Company Limited.

He holds a Sloan Fellows MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Ibadan. Mr. Adebiyi is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. Furthermore, he is an esteemed alumnus of several prestigious institutions, including Harvard University ,Wharton Business School, and Lagos Business School.
