Data Recapture Exercise
The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has launched a self-service online platform, the Data Recapture Self-Service Platform (PENCAP), which allows contributors who joined the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) before July 2019 to conveniently recapture their data online. The Data Recapture Exercise helps ensure that contributors’ pension records are accurate, secure, and up to date, and supports the seamless administration of the retirement savings, including seamless processing of pension benefit applications.
Please follow the steps below to recapture your data:
- Visit https://pensionrecap.pencom.gov.ng/
- Create a secure user profile using your personal email address.
- Complete the online Data Recapture Form and upload the required supporting documents
- Complete your live facial capture and upload a picture of your signature
- Submit the form.
Upon submission, you will receive an email confirmation. Your information will then be processed, and you will be notified by email once it is approved or if corrections are required.
As you complete your data recapture, it is important to remember that your pension account is more than a mandatory monthly deduction; it is an investment in your financial future.
