In an unwavering commitment to prioritizing customer satisfaction, CrusaderSterling Pensions Limited (CPL) has hosted its annual Stakeholders Forum for 15th time since the company was founded in October, 2004.

The CPL Stakeholders Forum is a flagship event of CPL that is held nationally and allows for open dialogue, knowledge sharing, and relationship building between CPL and her valued stakeholders, including clients, partners, industry experts, and community leaders.

Speaking at one of the Stakeholder’s Forums held in Lagos, Rotimi Adebiyi, Managing Director, CPL said the essence of the event was to keep Retirement Savings Account (RSA) holders informed about recent industry updates which includes accessing 25 percent of their RSA balance towards mortgage, need for data re-capture, pros and cons of annuities vis a vis programmed withdrawal, responsibilities as RSA holders and additional benefits that CPL  offers.

According to Olufemi Dada, Executive Director, Business Development at CPL, CPL led the industry for 10 years consistently in returns on the active RSA Fund Prices before the establishment of the MultiFund Structure. “Our RSA Fund II price was N7.0507 as at May 15, 2023, returning over 605 percent, the highest in the Industry on time adjusted basis.” According to him, CPL was the first PFA to attain N2.000, N3.000 N4.000, N6.000 and N7.000 unit price mark (i.e., 100 percent, 200 percent, 300 percent, 400 percent, 500 percent and 600 percent returns) respectively on funds under management.

Dada said for RSA contributors who opened an account with CrusaderSterling Pensions in 2006 and contributed 1,000,000 naira into the account at inception without any other contribution, the fund would have grown by 605 percent.

“In January 2023, the balance would have amounted to 7, 050,700.00 naira, and no PFA has attained this in the industry” Dada said.

The Executive Director, Operations of CPL, Mr. Olufemi Odukoya, also urged contributors to choose their PFAs wisely and advised employers to remit their employees’ contribution seven days after payment of salaries to enhance good returns on their pension

The event, which saw in attendance large number of Pension Desk Officers (PDO) in several organisations, was an opportunity for CPL to get feedback on how they can improve their services and ensure that RSA holders enjoy their retirement benefits.
According to CPL, the PDOs must have a good understanding of the Pension Reform Act 2014, Regulations, Circulars, Advisory etc from the National Pension Commission (PenCom).

By providing a platform for face-to-face interactions, networking, and informal discussions, the stakeholders forum serves as a platform for CPL to go beyond the transactional nature of business to establish genuine and invaluable relationships with its customers and foster loyalty, trust, and a sense of belonging among stakeholders.

As we celebrate the successful completion of our 15th Stakeholders Forum, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to putting customers first and working tirelessly to deliver superior returns to our stakeholders.

We are grateful for the trust stakeholders place in us, and will continue to work diligently to exceed expectations.
