In a remarkable display of corporate social responsibility, CrusadersSterling Pensions Limited (CPL), a leading Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) in Nigeria extended its support to the workers of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) on World Environment Day, June 5, 2023. CPL donated over one hundred sanitation uniforms to LAWMA to enhance workers’ safety and promote environmental sustainability in the state and promised to do more.

World Environment Day, observed annually on June 5, serves as a global platform to raise sanitation awareness, and encourage protection and preservation of the environment. Recognizing the importance of this day, CPL expressed its commitment to sustainability and demonstrated its unwavering support for the workers at the forefront of environmental sanitation.

The event took place at LAWMA’s headquarters in Ijora, Lagos, Nigeria where the agency’s representatives were present to receive the uniforms. Speaking at the event, the MD of LAWMA, Mr. Ibrahim Adejuwon Odumboni thanked CrusaderSterling Pensions for the great gesture and useful donation to LAWMA. He stated that the donations came in at the right time and would be used appropriately.
