Rotimi Adebiyi

Mr. Rotimi Adebiyi is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Crusadersterling Pensions Limited. He has twenty-five years of experience in the financial services industry with a proven history of accomplishments in portfolio management across varying asset classes. Hitherto, he served as CEO of HIP Asset Management Co. Limited, where he was instrumental in overseeing various investment strategies and portfolio diversification. He also served as Divisional Head, of the country’s central securities depository FMDQ Depository Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of FMDQ Group, between 2018 and 2021. Prior to this period, he honed his formative years in Bank Treasury, having worked in all treasury units (Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, and Asset and Liability Management) in various banks and as Head of Treasury.

He worked as head of local currency at First bank of Nigeria in 2007 and later as a Senior Sales trader at Standard Chartered Bank and became Chief Dealer of Intercontinental Bank (now, Access Bank Plc) till 2011. He was also instrumental in Market Advocacy and held the role of Treasurer of the Money Market Association of Nigeria between 2008-2010. In 2012, he co-founded HIP Asset Management Company Limited.

He is a graduate of Sloan Fellows MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He is an alumnus of Harvard, Wharton, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Lagos Business School, and University of Ibadan, Nigeria
